ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance activities at a world-class automotive manufacturing facility in Bedford, IN. You will oversee a multi-trade team, drive safety, reliability, and cost objectives, and collaborate across departments to support manufacturing excellence.

This contract role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while promoting a safe, efficient operating environment.

Competenze

• 5-7 years of supervisory experience in maintenance/manufacturing.
• Experience supervising a multi-trade workforce.
• Knowledge of machine, assembly, and facility maintenance operations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience promoting and maintaining a safe industrial work environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Candidate Profile

• 5-7 years of maintenance, manufacturing, or related supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising a multi-trade workforce.
• Knowledge of machine, assembly, and/or facility maintenance operations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and concepts.
• Knowledge of tooling, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
• Experience promoting and maintaining a safe industrial work environment.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics, including trigonometry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Lotus Notes or similar email communication systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Associate degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
• Skilled trades training or equivalent technical training preferred.
