Job summary

RINA seeks an enthusiastic Junior Maintenance Engineer intern to join the Operations and Maintenance Engineering Division in Rome or Rozzano. You will learn asset management, CMMS implementation, and maintenance planning through mentorship and real project exposure.

Under guidance from experienced engineers, you will contribute to documentation, asset registers, and software tools, gaining hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and grow in asset maintenance engineering.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and managing project technical documentation.
• Review and verify technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure adherence to project requirements and standards.
• Support development and maintenance of asset registers for client projects.
• Assist in CMMS template implementation and customization.
• Support maintenance plan development and workload planning under guidance.
• Gain proficiency in mechanical handling software (AutoCAD, Navisworks, SmartPlant) and MS Office.
