Railpool is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d) in Savona, Italy. The role focuses on drafting and implementing maintenance documentation for locomotives under ECM II, and on tracking hardware/software configuration across the fleet.

You will collaborate with internal teams and international ECM II peers, supporting the Italy ECM II manager and driving improvements while ensuring high reliability and availability.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, electrical or management engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical roles; railway knowledge is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work in teams and independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Fluency in Italian and English (English minimum B2).

• Draft, update and implement maintenance documentation for Railpool locomotives operating in Italy under ECM II.

The main responsibilities will be:* Drafting, updating and implementing maintenance documentation relating to Railpool locomotives operating in Italy, in the context of the ECM II Maintenance Development function in accordance with European Regulation 2019/779, in coordination with the direct manager and the central ECM II functions* Tracking and managing the hardware and software configuration of the fleet* Providing technical support to the other ECM functions* Actively participating in the international ECM II function community* Supporting the Italy ECM II manager in the continuous improvement of fleet maintenance development* Monitoring fleet performance in terms of reliability and availability# **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU*** You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in mechanical, electrical or management engineering disciplines* You have at least 3 years of experience in technical roles (e.g. design, RAMs, project management), knowledge and experience in the railway business will be a plus* You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and flexibility* You have excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners* You enjoy working in a team and are a true team player* You maintain a detail-oriented mindset and are committed to complying with the quality and safety standards required of you* You are also able to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment* You are highly proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)* You speak Italian fluently and have at least a B2 certification in English**Salary**: Gross annual salary of €35.000–€38.000, plus a variable bonus component.
