Kyndryl in Milano is seeking a software engineer to join our mainframe modernization team. You’ll design, build and maintain high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe and enable modern cloud/mobile interactions with core data.

The role requires strong coding skills (Java, Python, .Net) and experience with AI-enabled modernization, microservices and containers. You’ll collaborate globally to deliver scalable, robust software.

Competenze

Experience as a software engineer on complex projects.
Strong coding skills and debugging abilities in Java, Python, and .Net.
Experience with AI-enabled modernization and cloud-native architectures.
Familiarity with microservices, containers, and data interactions.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of architecture design and design patterns.

Mansioni

Design, build and maintain high-volume business logic on the mainframe and enable modern cloud/mobile interactions with core data.
Refactor legacy code to enable cloud and mobile integrations.
Monitor performance and optimize architecture to prevent decay and improve efficiency.
Debug, test, and troubleshoot complex system interactions to keep mission-critical applications running.
Collaborate with global teams to accelerate modernization and knowledge sharing.
