Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services is hiring a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain high-volume mainframe modernization-related microservices. You will refactor legacy code to enable cloud and mobile interactions with core data, working in a hybrid-friendly environment that values learning and collaboration.

Expect to contribute to RESTful APIs, automated testing, and observability initiatives while partnering with architects, analysts, and testers to deliver scalable solutions.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong PostgreSQL and Redis knowledge.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or equivalent messaging systems.
• Ability to develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI 3.0 and Swagger specifications.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Solid experience in automated testing using JUnit 5.
• Experience with static code analysis tools to ensure code quality and security.
• Basic knowledge of structured logging, monitoring, and observability practices.
• Ability to independently manage technical tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Develop and test Java microservices based on predefined architectural and functional specifications.
• Implement business logic for complex, highly reliable transactional processes.
• Contribute to orchestration, integration, and data synchronization services.
• Implement REST APIs documented using the OpenAPI 3.0 specification.
• Write automated unit and integration tests, while contributing to the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase.
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Collaborate with the team on observability, structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing initiatives.
• Develop highly reliable services for transactional processes with stringent scalability and resilience requirements.
