M&A Trainee: Drafting & Corporate Transactions

Job summary

Withers seeks a trainee to join the Corporate team and gain hands-on experience in commercial, corporate and M&A matters. You will assist with drafting commercial agreements and transaction documents, and support the team on domestic and cross-border transactions.

The role offers exposure to acquisitions, investments, disposals and ongoing corporate matters, helping you develop technical and commercial skills while working with clients across borders.

Qualifications

• Law degree with excellent academic record (not less than 102/110).
• English proficiency at C1 level; Italian/English communication skills required.
• Experience in Corporate department is an advantage.
• Excellent written and oral communication in Italian and English.
• Strong IT skills (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Support on domestic and cross-border M&A matters.
• Prepare high-quality drafts of corporate documentation.
