Newport & Co in Verona is hiring an M&A Intern to work directly with our Chief Investment Officer on acquiring corporate carve-outs across Europe for six months in a paid on-site internship.

You will source opportunities, build and stress-test financial models, support due diligence and preparation of Investment Committee materials, and assist across sourcing to signing with Day-1 readiness.

Competenze

• Pursuing or recently completed Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Management or a related quantitative field.
• Internship experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Private Equity, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Audit or Management Consulting.
• Strong understanding of accounting, valuation and M&A fundamentals.
• Fluent Italian, English and a third language and international experience.
• Availability to work full-time on-site in Verona for six months.
• Interest in building a long-term career with Newport & Co.

Newport & Co is hiring an M&A Intern in Verona: six months, full-time, paid, working directly with our Chief Investment Officer on acquiring corporate carve-outs across Europe.

• M&A end-to-end : You will be involved i n the entire M&A process from origination to the first conversation with a corporate seller through valuation, due diligence, negotiation and deal execution

What you will do

What we are looking for

• A Master's degree in progress or recently completed in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, Engineering or a related quantitative field, with strong academic results
• Previous internship experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Private Equity, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Audit or Management Consulting, ideally involving financial analysis or valuation
• Strong understanding of accounting, valuation and M&A fundamentals
• Fluent Italian, English and a third language and international academic or professional experience
• Availability to work full-time and on-site in Verona for six months
• A genuine interest in building a long‑term career with Newport & Co
• Exposure to industrial businesses, carve‑outs or turnaround situations, and effective use of AI tools are advantages.
