Job Description

M&A Associates:

• Support the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
• Conduct market and industry research to support deal origination and strategic advisory.
• Collaborate with internal teams across geographies and with external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
• Contribute to the development of junior analysts and foster a team-oriented, collaborative culture.
• Engage with senior management, boards, and other advisors to support complex and high-profile transactions.

M&A Analysts:

• Support the execution of M&A transactions through detailed financial modelling, valuation analyses, and preparation of transaction materials.
• Assist in due diligence processes, data room management, and coordination with internal teams and external advisors.
• Prepare presentations, pitch books, and other client-facing materials to support origination and execution.
• Conduct industry, company, and market research to provide insights for senior team members and to help identify opportunities.
• Work closely with Associates and Vice Presidents to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality in all deliverables.
• Develop technical and analytical skills while contributing to a collaborative and entrepreneurial team culture.

The Successful Applicant

Associates:

• 3-4 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, ideally gained at leading independent advisory firms or top international investment banks.
• Strong technical skills in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction analysis, with proven experience on large and upper mid deals, and proven track record of exposure to complex assignments and the ability to navigate cross-border or multi-stakeholder processes.
• Solid understanding of the Italian market dynamics, combined with familiarity with the broader European M&A landscape.
• Strong professional network and ability to engage effectively with market participants, including legal advisors, consultants, and other financial institutions.
• Generalist mindset, with the flexibility to work across different sectors and the ambition to broaden expertise beyond a single vertical.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Italian and English.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment within a growing team.

Analysts:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, in leading independent advisory firms or international investment banks.
• Strong academic background in finance, economics, or related fields, with excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Solid technical foundation in financial modelling, valuation methodologies, and accounting principles.
• Keen attention to detail, with the ability to handle complex assignments under tight deadlines.
• Interest in working on large and upper mid transactions, ideally with exposure to complex or cross-border deals.
• Experience in leading independent advisory firms or international investment banks.
• Generalist mindset, with the flexibility to work across sectors rather than a narrow specialization.
