Job summary

Six Senses Rome & Milan seeks a Cluster Director of HR to lead the human resources function across the Rome property, Milan cluster office, and the upcoming Six Senses Milan. You will shape workforce planning, recruitment, compensation benchmarking, training, and HR readiness for pre-opening activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business related field, 5+ years in luxury hotel HR, and fluency in English and Italian, with EU/EEA eligibility to work in Italy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, or Business Management plus 4 years related training experience; five+ years in a cluster/multi-property luxury hotel HR role preferred.
• Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems experience (ADP/Timesaver preferred).
• HR designation (PHR, SPHR or other) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR across the cluster (Rome, Milan cluster office, and Six Senses Milan) including recruitment, compensation, payroll budgeting and training.
• Lead pre-opening HR readiness for Six Senses Milan and coordinate with project teams.
• Ensure compliance with Italian labor law and mandatory filings; manage union relations where present.
• Drive talent management, succession planning, and performance management across properties.
• Coordinate with Sustainability Manager for social responsibility initiatives and host relations.
