Rodgy Guerrera And Partners is seeking a Freelance Product & Design Developer Coordinator to lead the development of a new eyewear collection, bridging the creative vision and manufacturing. You will manage prototypes, certifications, and production readiness, collaborating with the Founder and Creative Director across Switzerland, France, and Italy, with a six-month collaboration and travel as required.

Competenze

• 10–15 years of experience in luxury/high-luxury eyewear
• Strong technical knowledge of eyewear construction and manufacturing
• Proven experience in product development and industrialisation
• Excellent understanding of materials, components, hinges, hardware and finishing techniques
• Experience working directly with eyewear manufacturers and specialist suppliers
• Strong knowledge of prototyping, fitting, testing and quality control
• Familiarity with eyewear certification and international standards
• Strong project management and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and development phases
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and solution‑driven approach
• Strong aesthetic sensitivity and ability to protect a Creative Director’s vision
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Languages: Italiano, French and/or English
• Willingness to travel between Switzerland, France, and Italy
• 6 months collaboration, 7-days per month

Mansioni

• Oversee the development of the new sunglasses collection from concept through prototyping, industrialisation, certification and production readiness
• Coordinate manufacturers, suppliers and technical partners to translate the creative vision into production-ready eyewear
• Act as the link between the creative direction and technical execution to ensure top design, craftsmanship, quality and functionality
