ABB E-mobility is seeking a Logistics Project Manager to drive high-impact improvement projects across our logistics network at our San Giovanni Valdarno site. This hands-on role turns complex operational problems into clear facts, practical solutions, and realized results.

You will collaborate across functions, regions, suppliers, 3PLs and internal stakeholders to enhance performance, service levels, and cost efficiency in a growing matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, consulting or project management.
• Excellent problem-solving with structured thinking and root-cause analysis.
• Strong data analysis to turn complex data into insights and actions.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
• Experience with transportation, warehousing, 3PL, TMS, SAP, or automation.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Willingness to work at San Giovanni Valdarno site.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional logistics projects from problem definition to implementation.
• Use data to quantify opportunities, build business cases and track benefits.
• Improve logistics KPIs: OTIF, cost, lead time, warehouse productivity.
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and 3PL/4PL partners.
• Support automation and system projects including TMS and SAP improvements.
• Governance with risk tracking and follow-up.
• Champion scalable, streamlined processes.
