Sanofi in Milano, Italy seeks a Local Privacy Officer to lead privacy strategy and risk management across the Italian business. You will implement privacy-by-design, align local practices with global standards, and engage with authorities to ensure compliant, transparent data handling.

The role requires extensive knowledge of GDPR, AI regulations, and cross‑functional collaboration with leadership teams to drive privacy maturity and responsible innovation.

Qualifications

• Healthcare/Life science sector experience is an advantage.
• Experience in highly regulated environments, preferably in project or compliance management.
• In-depth knowledge of data privacy and AI regulations.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Multi-stakeholder management based on influence rather than formal relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, writing and advisory skills.
• Ability to balance legal/company requirements and business enablement.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Prevent privacy risks and protect data subjects’ rights.
• Develop and maintain a local privacy risk assessment framework.
• Map business strategies to proactively deploy privacy controls.
• Lead Local Privacy champions network to implement privacy strategy.
• Monitor local privacy regulations, AI developments, and enforce local variations of global procedures.
• Contribute to global papers and maintain external privacy networks.
