Fondazione Telethon is seeking a Head of Lipid Nanoparticle Core to design, implement, and manage an integrated Core across TIGEM (Naples) and SR-TIGET (Milan). The role is based at SR-TIGET (Milan) with regular travel between the two sites to support internal research groups and translational programs.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in Chemistry or related fields with 5+ years post-PhD experience in LNP design, production, and characterization, including in vivo applications.

Competenze

• PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
• 5+ years post-PhD experience in relevant scientific fields.
• Track record in LNP design, production, and characterization; functionalization/CMC a plus.
• Experience with in vivo applications of LNPs.
• Familiar with quality-driven workflows; GLP experience advantageous.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Mansioni

• Establish and lead the Lipid Nanoparticle Core across two Institutes.
• Define and implement the operational strategy, workflows, SOPs, quality standards, and resources.
• Recruit, mentor, and supervise Core staff.
• Interface with internal units and external partners and providers.
• Drive innovation in the LNP space and enabling technologies.
• Contribute to grant writing and external funding applications.
