Qualcomm Europe, Inc. Italy Branch Office is seeking a Linux Plumber to bridge kernel and user space, shaping our custom Linux distribution and tooling.

You will drive OS-level architecture, rootfs, and image generation while prioritizing upstream changes over forks. You’ll collaborate with Qualcomm’s open-source engineers to align OS plumbing with next-gen silicon and contribute to a robust, mainline-first development culture.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 6+ years hardware engineering experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years hardware engineering experience.
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years hardware engineering experience.

Mansioni
