BCD Meetings & Events in Milan, Italy, is seeking a hands-on Project Manager – Meetings with life sciences expertise. You will manage end-to-end client events, from venue sourcing to on-site execution, juggling multiple programs for a key client.

The role requires life sciences project experience, strong MS Office and Cvent knowledge, fluent Italian and English, and travel up to 25%. Hybrid work model with 3 days/week on client site near Milan Central Station.

Qualifications

• Experience in meeting/program planning.
• Experience working with Life Sciences clients.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Travel up to 25% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Program Development & Execution: Oversee planning and execution, timelines and client financial controls.
• Client Management: Advise on practices, compliance, and cost savings.
• Budget Management: Create and communicate budgets with final reconciled figures.
• Vendor Relations: Negotiate and manage supplier relationships.
• Sourcing & Contracting: Venue research, budgeting, and e-RFP process.
• Attendee Management: Track registrations, communications with hotels.
• Technology Management: Build client websites for information collection and registration.
• Reporting & Compliance: Meet deadlines for reporting and audits; ensure supplier billing compliance.
• Process Improvement: Develop SOPs to improve operations across regions.
