Allianz in Milan seeks an experienced Liability underwriting professional to develop and execute the strategy for Liability & Environmental Impairment Liability risks in the Italian market. You will align with Group targets, support local strategy, and serve as the contact for agents/brokers.

The role requires 5–7 years in profitable liability underwriting for corporate clients, leadership ability, and fluency in English.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Law or Economics or equivalent.
• 5-7 years experience in underwriting profitable Liability business for corporate clients.
• Preference if also experienced in PI / D&O / Cyber Risks / Legal Expenses as well as in Multinational Clients/Programs.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Expertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle.
• Sound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills.
• Ideally experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordings.
• Ideally experience in driving underwriting projects.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work in an international organization.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Data analytics.
• Very good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative tools.

Job Purpose/Role

Based in Milan and reporting to the Liability Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Liability & Environmental Impairment Liability risks into the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be also the contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Liability Team.

Key Responsibilities

Based in Milan Permanent contract

Pursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between €45,000 gross and €55,000 gross. Employment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement. The final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.
