LVMH Group in Florence, Italy, is seeking a Planner Specialist to consolidate collection and permanent product planning into a unified production demand and translate it into an efficient production schedule.

The role focuses on capacity optimization, line efficiency, and close collaboration with manufacturing sites to ensure on-time delivery. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 3–5 years in production planning are required, with strong ERP and Excel skills. English at B2 level mandatory.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in fashion/luxury industries.
  • Strong expertise in production planning, scheduling, and capacity management within manufacturing environments.
  • Solid understanding of industrial processes, workforce planning, and operational constraints.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and planning tools; strong Excel skills required.
  • Ability to translate complex planning inputs into clear and executable schedules.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Clear, structured, pragmatic communication style.
  • Problem-solving and execution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, change-driven environments.
  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience interfacing with manufacturing sites or production hubs.
  • English knowledge (mandatory): B2 or more.

  • Prioritize production sequencing to ensure optimal manpower saturation and line efficiency.
  • Continuously update schedules in response to demand changes, capacity variations, or constraints.
  • Act as the primary planning counterpart for the assigned production pole.
  • Work closely with pole production planners to validate feasibility, sequencing, and workload distribution.
  • Support production poles in managing capacity constraints, workload peaks, and bottlenecks.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication between planning and manufacturing teams.
  • Monitor production progress versus plan and identify deviations or risks.
  • Propose and coordinate re-planning actions to secure production continuity and delivery targets.
  • Track key planning and execution KPIs such as schedule adherence and capacity utilization.
  • Contribute to the improvement of planning and scheduling processes, with a focus on execution at the pole level.
  • Support the development of standard planning rules and best practices for capacity-driven scheduling.

LG Planner Specialist

JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The Planner Specialist is responsible for consolidating collection and core product planning into a single production demand for a dedicated Manufacturing Hub and translating it into an effective production schedule.

The role focuses on capacity optimization and workforce saturation, ensuring that manufacturing resources are fully and efficiently utilized, independently from product typology (collections or permanent products). The Planning Specialist acts as a key operational bridge between central planning inputs and manufacturing execution.

Job responsibilities

  • Consolidate collection and permanent product plans into a single, integrated production demand for the production poles
