Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a part-time freelance Legal Annotator to support AI training for contract management platforms.

Work is remote with 25+ flexible hours per week, starting immediately, and lasting through the end of October. You will perform multilingual data collection, evaluation, and annotation on international contracts, analyze clauses and obligations, and participate in onboarding, calibration sessions, and quality reviews in secure client environments.

Qualifications

• Contract or legal domain expertise with strong interpretation and contract-review skills.
• Fluency in English alongside the target language.
• Prior data-annotation or ML data evaluation experience preferred.

What We’re Looking For:

• Legal Expertise: Contract or legal domain expertise, with strong legal interpretation and contract-review skills (especially regarding international and cross-jurisdictional contracts).
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English alongside the relevant target language.
• AI & Data Capabilities (Preferred): Prior data-annotation experience or familiarity with machine learning data evaluation and quality assurance tasks.
