Job summary
UNICEF is seeking a Fund Raising Specialist (IG Legacy Pathways) in Rome, Italy. The role focuses on strengthening UNICEF’s legacy giving through donor journeys, campaigns, and strategic propositions.
You will guide markets and Country Focal Points, driving acquisition, engagement, and long-term donor value. The candidate should have a Master or equivalent in a relevant field, with 5 years of experience in individual giving and legacy fundraising, and fluent English.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Marketing, Social Science, Communications, Fundraising, Business Administration or related field
- Bachelor degree with 2 extra years of relevant experience may be accepted
- 5 years in individual giving and/or legacy fundraising required
- Experience in fast-paced, results-driven organizations preferred
- Digital fundraising and donor journeys knowledge an asset
- Hands-on multi-channel campaign experience desirable
Responsibilities
- Maximise legacy income from existing handraisers
- Strengthen future legacy pipeline through targeted acquisition
- Unlock legacy value from the existing donor base
- Collaborate with brand, communications, advocacy and content teams to strengthen brand awareness and emotional connection to legacy giving
- Develop and test new legacy products and propositions
