La Scuola International School in Milan is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Teacher to join our Primary School for a maternity leave coverage. The ideal candidate will support diverse learners with an inclusive, inquiry-based approach and collaborate with classroom teachers to tailor instruction.

You will observe and document progress, contribute to PEIs and personalised strategies, and engage families and specialists in a supportive, international environment.

Competenze

• Qualifications to work as an insegnante di sostegno in an Italian primary school setting.
• Experience supporting children with diverse learning needs, preferably at Primary School level.
• Familiarity with IB philosophy and inquiry-based learning.

Mansioni

• Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs in collaboration with classroom teachers.
• Promote inclusion, independence, wellbeing and active participation in school life.
• Contribute to development and implementation of PEIs and personalised learning strategies.
• Observe and document students’ learning and progress, adapting strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, specialists and leadership team.
• Participate in collaborative planning, team meetings and professional life of the school.
