Job summary

Baker Hughes in Italy is seeking a Supplier Fulfillment Manager to lead direct materials supplier activities, ensuring On Time Delivery and documentation accuracy. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, drive continuous improvements, and tackle complex problems to support business goals.

The role requires a degree in Engineering/SC/Economics (or MBA), strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

  • Display strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ability to manage workload in a high-pressure environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; EU passport; willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery of materials and certificates for assigned suppliers; monitor production plan and coordinate logistics until receipt.
  • Provide visibility to internal customers on supplier plans and priorities to ensure On Time Delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of all documentation for supplied materials.
  • Engage with Procurement Organization units to report supplier performance and refine strategy.
  • Partner with Quality to support supplier surveillance and issue resolution.
  • Work with Logistics to optimize transportation plans and cost efficiency.
  • Support procurement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements.

Take ownership to ensure delivery targets

As a Supplier Fulfillment Manager, you will be the main point of contact for Suppliers and internal stakeholders for all activities related to the execution of the direct materials supplies for the Suppliers/commodity managed. You will work with Suppliers to ensure On Time Delivery for goods and related documents and to identify and implement continuous development programs for improving their performances, capacity and capability.
You will be accountable to solve complex problems, execute objectives, and support short-term/long-term business goals. You will ensure that business strategies are followed for fulfilment and quality. You will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes.

Partner with the best

As a Supplier Fulfillment Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing delivery of materials and certificates for the assigned Suppliers, monitoring the production plan and coordinating Logistics until receiving into the systems, in line with Company processes and procedures.
  • Giving the visibility to Internal Customer on Supplier plan, preventing criticalities and managing priorities, to ensure the achievement of On Time Delivery versus internal and external Customers.
  • Collaborating with Suppliers to ensure On Time Delivery for all documentations associated with the materials supplied.
  • Interacting with the Platform and Operating Units inside Procurement Organization and to provide regular feedback about Supplier performances to refine the Supplier strategy.
  • Partnering with Quality to support Supplier surveillance and on time issues resolution.
  • Cooperating with Logistic team to generate transportation best plan to minimize cost and improve efficiency.
  • Supporting both Vendor Recovery negotiations & results and Account Payable resolution on invoices issues.
  • Supporting key Procurement initiatives through continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensuring Supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or alternative MBA, or equivalent experience;
  • Show good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills and team working attitude, to be able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and partnerships with suppliers to facilitate execution;
  • Be able to maintain workload management in a high-pressure environment, through the ability to organize and prioritize tasks subject to criticalities;
  • Show proactive and analytical approach for problem identification and their quick resolution;
  • Be fluent in both Italian and English and hold an EU passport; be willing to travel both to regional and international locations, to work with suppliers (up to 20% travel required).

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,600 To 70,000

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
