Hitachi Rail in Turin, Italy is seeking a motivated Site Supervisor to coordinate construction activities on site, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule alignment. The role requires reviewing technical documentation, managing contractors, and interfacing with the client.

You will travel nationally across Italy, require a technical diploma or engineering degree, and demonstrate knowledge of safety regulations (Leg. Decree 81/08). Fluent Italian is required; English preferred.

Competenze

• Proven site supervision experience, ideally in signalling, infrastructure, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/08).
• Experience managing contractors and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and project specifications.
• Availability for national business travel.

Mansioni

• Planning and organising site setup, workflow, schedules, equipment allocation, and reporting.
• Supervising personnel and subcontractors, ensuring safety and integration.
• Ensuring compliance with safety plans and coordinating with Safety Coordinator (CSE).
• Liaising with Site Manager, monitoring execution, and managing supplier relationships.
• Ensuring quality and environmental compliance with current regulations.
• Managing materials, resources, and equipment usage on site.
• Identifying and resolving technical or logistical issues to prevent delays.
• Authorising monthly work progress statements (SAL).
