dsm-firmenich is opening a new Taste, Texture & Health plant in Collecchio near Parma. We seek a Senior Process Engineer to drive commissioning, start-up, and continuous improvement from day one, collaborating with diverse teams and ensuring GMP-compliant execution.

You will lead validation efforts, monitor key performance indicators, and shape innovative, sustainable process solutions at a global food biotech leader.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years as an engineer in manufacturing (Food, Pharma, Chemical).
• Lean Six Sigma experience is a differentiator.
• Previous GMP/food or pharma environment experience.
• Strong expertise in P&IDs and mass and energy balances.
• Fluency in English.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate process commissioning and start-up activities.
• Support and supervise plant validation and qualification per GMP/FDA regulations.
• Monitor process performance and KPIs (OEE, scrap rates, yields).
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities (Lean manufacturing) and implement them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
• Create, update and approve P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and process specs.
