Gh Engage is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for a permanent Data Centre project in Milan, Italy. The role leads electrical design, review of specs, and coordination with BIM and construction teams to ensure buildable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data centre or complex construction environments, strong LV/MV knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Amtech, DIALux and MS Office. You will mentor junior engineers and support pre-construction and project reviews.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' electrical project engineering experience, preferably in Data Centre or complex construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and international standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Amtech, DIALux and Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical engineering activities from design development through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Review electrical designs, specifications and calculations, identifying design gaps, discrepancies and technical issues.
• Coordinate electrical design with BIM and construction teams to ensure solutions are practical and fully buildable.
• Manage technical submittals, equipment approvals, procurement and supplier coordination.
• Monitor electrical installation progress and complete system walkdowns to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate specialist electrical vendors throughout testing and commissioning.
• Prepare and review test packs, FATs and O&M documentation for final handover.
• Provide technical support to site teams and work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Support pre-construction, design management, project reviews and continuous improvement activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
