Lightsource bp seeks a senior Commercial Engineer to support projects in Italy, lead technical due diligence, and drive design and EPC documentation across development, pre-construction, and construction phases. The role emphasizes PV, BESS, and wind tech, with strong emphasis on EYA, LCOE analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Competenze

7+ years in Renewable Energy (Solar PV and Wind).
Experience with BESS and Hydrogen technologies is a strong plus.
Experience performing Energy Yield Assessments (EYA) and understanding PV, BESS & Wind performance factors.
Experience with large-scale Solar PV, BESS and Windfarm projects in the region (Developer/EPC/Advisor).
Masters in Renewable Energy or related field preferable.

Mansioni

Lead Technical Due Diligence (Acquisition/Financing) and manage service providers.
Undertake Energy Yield Assessments (EYA).
Undertake LCOE optimisation and analysis for new projects.
Support assessment of new technologies (modules, inverters, structures, WTGs, BESS).
Lead Basic Design development with layouts and SLDs; develop EPC Technical Appendices.
Support Project Managers across technical aspects during construction, PAC and FAC.
Coordinate and manage Technical Advisors locally and internationally.
