Celebrity Cruises is seeking an experienced CDP Baker to oversee the bakery shop on board, ensuring daily operation, production, and quality meet corporate standards. You will lead and coach a diverse team, forecast production, manage waste and food costs, and supervise display setups across buffets while ensuring strict adherence to USPH rules.

The role requires a culinary school degree and strong management, communication, and guest service skills, with shipboard experience preferred.

Competenze

Minimum of two years' experience as a CDP Baker in upscale settings (shipboard preferred).
A culinary school degree is required.
Strong management skills in multicultural environments.
Excellent communication, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
Superior customer service, teambuilding, and conflict resolution skills.
Knowledge of personalized service principles and guest satisfaction evaluation.

Mansioni

Ensures smooth operation and control of Bakery Shop and production daily according to policies.
Directs, coaches, supports, supervises, and evaluates staff with Head Baker.
Responsible for production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus.
Prepares production forecasts and records leftovers to control food costs.
Supervise bread display setup in buffets.
Ensure compliance with USPH rules and regulations daily.
Ensure bakery cleaning per Executive Chef’s schedule and minimize equipment damage.
Prepare bakery for USPH inspections.
Oversee requisition and transport of items from main stores to bakery shop.
Ensure recipes/master list and yields meet company standards.
Complete daily production recap.
