KPIT is seeking a Lead Base Software Systems Engineer to support VHIL labs, production, and pre-production plant setups. The role requires broad embedded software expertise on microcontrollers, hands-on debugging across bootloaders, AUTOSAR, and FOTA processes.

You will lead a distributed team, drive rapid issue resolution in production environments, and ensure system readiness for vehicle integration across multiple platforms.

Competenze

• Bachelor level technical degree required.
• 5+ years in embedded software development with C/C++.
• Experience leading a distributed global team.

Mansioni

• Debug and triage embedded software issues in plant, VHIL, and production setups.
• Travel to production plants and test facilities for on-site issue resolution.
• Support system bring-up and troubleshooting of bootloaders, AUTOSAR OS, HWIO, COM, DCM, MEM stacks.
• Work with Automotive Ethernet and SOME/IP.
• Support diagnostic flashing processes (UDS-based, DoIP-based).
• Collaborate with FOTA teams on firmware over-the-air updates including campaigns, partial updates, rollback Handling.
