LCA & Climate Change Consultant

Location: Napoli (NA)

As an LCA & Climate Change Consultant at Capgemini Engineering, you will participate in projects related to the OLI & GAS sector and work within our M&O practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the environmental impact of processes/products using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology;
  • Implementing ISO 14064 and ISO 14067 standards;
  • Applying sustainability support tools for clients;
  • Providing technical support for circular economy projects with clients.

Qualifications:

Essential requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing LCA;
  • Knowledge and proficiency in ISO 14000 series standards, especially ISO 14064, ISO 14040/44, ISO 14067 (carbon footprint), ISO 14025 (environmental product declaration), and EU Recommendation 179/13 (product environmental footprint);
  • Familiarity with GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards and UN SDGs;
  • Knowledge of SimaPro software;
  • English language proficiency;
  • Willingness to travel.

Additional valued qualities:

  • Strong interest and motivation in sustainability topics.

Note: The ideal candidate holds a master's degree in Environmental and Territorial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Management Engineering, with 2 to 4 years of professional experience.
