Wabtec in Camisano (CR) is seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead the laboratory operations for Bogie Brake products. You will oversee testing, validation planning, and maintenance of test benches, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and in compliance with quality requirements.

Reporting to Engineering Manager, you will coordinate resources, manage costs, and ensure ISO 17025 accreditation standards are met.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in laboratory, validation or testing activities.
• Experience managing resources and budgets.
• Knowledge of metrology.
• Experience with laboratory accreditations and ISO 17025.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Manage daily laboratory operations and testing activities.
• Plan and coordinate validation tests.
• Manage laboratory resources, priorities and budget.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and accreditation requirements.
• Support test bench verification and maintenance activities.
• Review and approve test reports.
• Work with internal teams, suppliers and external laboratories.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain laboratory organization and 5S standards.
