Azelis is seeking a Laboratory Specialist for the Agricultural & Environmental Solutions Laboratory in Bresso, Italy. You will support the Laboratory Manager in developing new projects and promoting Azelis products within the agrochemical market.

Ideal candidates have a chemistry-related degree, 3+ years in R&D for Agro, and strong analytical skills. English at an intermediate level and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset are required to succeed.

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• English ability at an intermediate level in writing and speaking.
• Minimum 3 years of R&D experience in the Agro market segment.

We are looking for a Laboratory Specialist for our Agricultural & Environmental Solutions Laboratory in Bresso (MI), Italy.

Mission

The Laboratory Specialist assists the Laboratory Manager in developing new projects to promote Azelis products and incorporate them into customers' finished product formulations in the agrochemical market.

Main Accountabilities

• Support and partially drive development and testing of new formulations, applications, and chemistries:
• Support and develop new product concepts to enter new customer/market segments;
• Support the sampling process (for customers, seminars, and exhibitions);
• Support the sales team by making joint customer visits
• Support customers on production trials if necessary
• Drive innovation through the Market segment’s lateral value chain;
• Supporting the digital team in creating the digital content for the customer portal;
• Work in close collaboration with the sales team to support project development and troubleshooting;
• Ensure tracking and reporting on innovation & pipeline development;
• Drive and support responsibility for the lab (safety, maintenance and quality standards).
• Translate the Group’s Sustainability Strategy into concrete job-related action items and contribute actively and timely to the implementation of the sustainability KPIs

Experience, Skills & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant field
• Speaking and writing an intermediate level of English
• Min. 3 years of experience in R&D in the Agro market segment
• Strong analytical approach, work towards high-quality standards, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and dynamic mindset
