Agilent is seeking a Laboratory Service Sales Remote Account Manager to cover the Italian market from the Greater Milan area. The role combines remote sales activities with on-site collaboration at the Milan site, operating in a hybrid model.

You will manage service quotations, build strong customer relationships, and forecast pipelines while working with field engineers and internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Competenze

• University Degree in Life Science field.
• Experience in commercial or inside sales with laboratory clients.
• Fluency in Italian and strong professional English.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities with digital tools.
• Confident communication with laboratory professionals and procurement teams.
• Curious, coachable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced international team.

We are looking for an Laboratory Service Sales Remote Account Manager within our Laboratory Service Sales department to cover the Italian market.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet sales objectives by driving remote sales activities (inbound and outbound calls, emails, chats, virtual meetings) with both existing customers and new prospects
• Develop and maintain effective customer relationships with procurement, laboratory managers, and end users, identifying needs and positioning Agilent’s laboratory services portfolio
• Identify and generate new business opportunities within an assigned territory to grow the existing customer base
• Collaborate proactively with field service engineers and internal sales teams to deliver a differentiated and consistent customer experience
• Prepare and manage service quotations, ensuring accuracy, follow up, and clear value communication
• Maintain an up to date CRM pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts
• Gradually develop inside sales capabilities such as prospecting, objection handling, and commercial negotiation, with the support of the team

Location & Working Model

This position is based in the Greater Milan area, operating under a hybrid working model, with regular collaboration at the Cernusco sul Naviglio site.

Qualifications

• Ideally, a University Degree in a Life Science field (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology…)
• Experience in a commercial, customer-facing, or inside sales position (including graduate roles, commercial internships, pre-sales, customer success, or hybrid technical-commercial positions) with laboratory clients/environments.
• Full professional fluency in Italian and a strong professional level of English.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities using digital sales tools such as phone, email, virtual meetings, and CRM systems.
• On a personal level, you enjoy building long-term customer relationships and delivering value through every interaction.
• You communicate confidently with laboratory professionals, including scientists, laboratory managers, and procurement teams.
• You are curious, open to learning, and welcome coaching and feedback as opportunities to grow.
• You work well independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and are comfortable working in a structured environment with clear objectives and performance measures in a fast-paced, international team.

Pay range Italy: 40,125 - 66,875.00 EUR per annum.

The position is classified at Levels 2° or 3° under the CCNL Terziario, distribuzione e servizi – Cod. H011 , which defines minimum salary levels, pay progression, and working conditions.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
