GlaxoSmithKline offers an extracurricular internship in the GVGH Laboratory Operations group in Siena, Italy. The role supports laboratory operations, documentation and cross-functional collaboration under the supervision of Lab Ops Head.

You will learn end-to-end equipment lifecycle, inventory management, data integrity, EHS compliance and logistics while developing in a multicultural team. Start date is November 2026; duration 6+6 months; deadline 2 October 2026; English required.

Competenze

Master's degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Understanding of laboratory operations and EHS principles.
Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Proactive, motivated and multitasking mindset.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; fluent English.
