Job summary

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing utensils, maintaining floors, assisting with basic food prep, waste disposal, stocking supplies, and upholding health and safety guidelines while wearing PPE and following uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, pots, pans and crockery.
• Keep kitchen floors and surfaces clean, dry, and hazard-free.
• Assist with basic food preparation as directed by chefs.
• Dispose of waste and recycling per health and safety regulations.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report shortages.
• Clean and restock restaurant restrooms regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas (waiting areas, hallways, staff rooms).
• Empty bins and remove trash from front-of-house areas as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors in kitchen and public areas to maintain hygiene.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene guidelines and procedures.
• Report hazards or equipment issues to management.
• Wear PPE and adhere to uniform standards.

The role involves helping keep the kitchen, dining areas, restrooms, and shared spaces clean and organized, supporting the team and helping us provide a welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Kitchen Duties:

• Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and crockery.


• Keep kitchen floors and surfaces clean, dry, and free from hazards.


• Assist with basic food preparation as directed by chefs (e.g., peeling or chopping).


• Dispose of waste and recycling according to health and safety regulations.


• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages.

Restaurant Cleaning Duties:

• Clean and restock restaurant restrooms regularly throughout the shift.


• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as customer waiting areas, hallways, and staff rooms.


• Empty bins and remove trash from front-of-house areas as needed.


• Sweep and mop floors in both kitchen and public areas to maintain a hygienic environment.

Health & Safety:

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines and procedures.


• Report any hazards or equipment issues to management immediately.


• Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to uniform standards.
