Job summary

Kering Italy Finance Shared Services is seeking an experienced GL accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and closing activities for assigned entities, ensuring IFRS and local GAAP compliance. You will handle journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments, while supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings with accuracy.

You'll drive process improvements using SAP FICO, assist audits with organized documentation, prepare statutory financial statements, reconcile balance

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3+ years of GL accounting experience with IFRS and local GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in month-end and year-end closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience in shared services or complex matrix organizations.
• ERP systems experience; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of retail lease accounting (IFRS16) and retail business basics

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP with variance analysis
• Assist internal and external audits with organized documentation and explanations
• Monitor accounting issues and escalate risks promptly
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and substantiate balances
• Drive R2R process improvements and digitalization, leveraging SAP (FICO)
• Participate in cross-functional finance projects and system enhancements

You own day-to-day accounting, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments, ensuring IFRS and local GAAP compliance. You support audits with organized documentation and push process improvements, including SAP FICO for automation. You work with cross-functional teams on system enhancements and new accounting standards, contributing to a growing global luxury group.
