Driven by continuous growth, our manufacturing location in Bressana, Bottarone (PV), is searching for a Mechatronic / Automation Engineer to be part of the Research and Development team.
The Mechatronic / Automation Engineer (Fire Protection Systems – Electrical & Electromechanical Components) is responsible for the design, development, prototyping and validation of electromechanical equipment used in foam extinguishing systems, including electrically driven and electronically / software controlled components and devices.
This role requires a technically skilled and innovative engineer with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, control interfaces, embedded software and system integration between mechanical electrical, electronics and software design. Experience in the fire protection industry, particularly with foam technology, is a strong advantage.
The Mechatronic / Automation Engineer develops and optimizes components and assemblies using modern CAD , simulation tools and programming languages, ensuring integration between mechanical and electrical systems. The role will involve creating 3D models, electrical schematic, software writing, PLC programming and documentation to support both internal product development and external manufacturing partners.
The Mechatronic / Automation Engineer works closely with project management, electronic and software specialists, production, product management, and testing teams to ensure that designs meet functional, safety, and regulatory requirements for both mechanical and electrical components.
A structured and analytical approach, combined with attention to details and interdisciplinary collaboration skills, is essential for success in this role.
