Hitachi Rail is seeking a Junior Test Engineer to join the Climate Chamber Laboratory in Pistoia, Italy. You will perform calibration and testing tasks within the Rolling Stock Engineering Department and support test campaigns end-to-end.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering, 1–2 years field engineering experience, and basic programming knowledge (C/C++/Python).

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• 1–2 years field engineering experience.
• Knowledge of calibration processes.
• Italian and English (B2) required.

Mansioni

• Oversee calibration and certificate cycle of lab instruments.
• Manage calibration certificate expiry schedules.
• Develop test procedures per specs and standards.
• Prepare technical documents for purchasing stage.
• Analyze test data and write reports.
• Support Lab Team for Test Bench setup.
