Hitachi Rail S.p.A. in Pistoia, Tuscany, Italy, is seeking a Junior Test Engineer to join the Climate Chamber Laboratory within the Rolling Stock Engineering Department. You will manage calibration and testing activities for lab instruments and support HVAC testing, data analysis, and reporting.

The role requires 1–2 years in field engineering, proficiency in programming (C/C++, Python, .NET) and good knowledge of MS Office and databases. Italian and English (B2) are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• 1–2 years field engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Italian and English (B2).

Mansioni

• Calibrate and certify laboratory instruments and manage expiry schedules.
• Support HVAC test analysis and Lab bench setup.
• Develop test procedures per specifications and standards.
• Prepare purchasing documents for test equipment.
• Analyze test data and prepare reports.
