Mermec is seeking a Junior System Engineer based in Italy. The role covers integration, testing, validation, and commissioning of systems at both Mermec facilities and customer sites.

You will review specifications, documentations, configure products, test at premises, and support commissioning and training at client locations. Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering, up to 2 years of relevant experience, strong English skills, and a willingness to travel internationally.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Automation.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience (including internships/co-ops).
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with RAMS, EN-50126, SIL, EN-50128 is a plus.
• Exposure to international environments or projects is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English (B2).
• Solid understanding of Windows environments and Office suite.
• Basic knowledge of analog/digital electronics, signal analysis, metrology, statistics, optics, networking, and artificial vision systems is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake occasional international travel.

Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• A degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Automation
