SSC Space is seeking a Junior Thermal Engineer to contribute to the development of Thermal Control Systems for satellites and payloads. You will participate in the full lifecycle from requirements through verification in a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include 2–5 years in thermal modelling and a STEM degree; a master’s is a plus. Proficiency with ESATAN‑TMS or Systema/Thermica is advantageous. The role emphasizes modelling, analysis, documentation and collaboration.

Competenze

• 2–5 years of proven experience in thermal modelling and analysis, preferably in the space sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics — or related scientific disciplines.
• Master’s degree in STEM or related scientific disciplines is considered a plus.

Mansioni

• Contribute to the development of Thermal Control Systems for satellites, payloads and equipment units.
• Perform thermal analyses using ESATAN‑TMS and Systema/Thermica at various levels of detail.
• Build and update thermal mathematical models and support verification activities.
• Support thermal test definition and test predictions, and document results.
