Job summary

Generale Du Solaire in Milan is seeking a Junior PV Developer intern to support development and permitting for Italian solar projects, coordinating between development and construction teams and ensuring timely Ready to Build status.

The candidate should be a student in Electrical, Energy or Industrial Engineering with hands-on experience in AutoCAD, QGIS and PVsyst, fluent in Italian and English, with French as a plus, and a proactive, delivery-focused mindset.

Qualifications

Student in Electrical, Energy or Industrial engineering seeking an end-of-study internship.
Strong knowledge of solar projects and PV equipment and grid interactions.
Adaptive mindset with problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and assess PV development opportunities for the Italian market.
Be part of due diligence activities to facilitate valuations.
Develop technical solutions for permitting (AutoCAD, QGIS, PVsyst).
Secure Grid Conditions and a Grid Connection Agreement with the utility.
Obtain permits (Environmental, Building, etc.) until Ready to Build.
Manage development to construction and coordinate with external consultants and authorities.
Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and surrounding projects.
Act as an ambassador for GENERALE DU SOLAIRE.
