Descrizione del lavoro

Newcleo Ltd. seeks a motivated junior engineer to bridge OT and IT domains. You will develop real‑time LabVIEW applications, work with PLCs (Siemens, Elsist), and design HMI/SCADA screens (Ignition) across plant assets, under supervision of senior engineers.

You will also provide basic IT support, document work, and learn to expand into databases and data pipelines. Strong communication and a hands-on mindset are essential.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in computer engineering, Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of LabVIEW/real-time programming and/or HMI/SCADA development.
• Industrial protocols: OPC UA, Modbus RTU/TCP, MQTT/AMQP, PROFINET, EtherCAT.
• SCADA platforms: Ignition, HMI/SCADA application engineering.
• PLC & control: Siemens TIA Portal, IEC 61131‑3 languages.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain control logic and real-time applications primarily in LabVIEW.
• Build and maintain SCADA applications on Ignition and HMI screens.
• Act as the first IT/OT bridge between R&D, OT, OEMs and IT infra.
• Participate in FAT/SAT activities and on-site commissioning.
• Assist field instrumentation integration and basic IT support.
• Draft and maintain technical docs and IO lists.
• Progressively grow toward broader IT/OT responsibilities.
