Job summary
NHOA Energy S.r.l. in Cosio Valtellino is seeking a Junior Software & SCADA Developer to join the Software Engineering team.
This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or technical diploma holders eager to start a career in industrial automation and energy systems. You will support development and integration of control software, HMI and SCADA for energy storage systems, collaborating with engineering and project teams through the full lifecycle, including testing, commissioning on site
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or diploma holder with up to 2 years in software or automation.
- Background in automation engineering, electrical or CS is welcome.
- Basic PLC development and SCADA knowledge. Able to read schematics.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of control software for NHOA systems.
- Develop HMI and SCADA applications according to project requirements.
- Assist in configuring and integrating control hardware and PLC/SCADA devices.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity team for OT security in the system.
- Participate in factory or supplier testing and document results.
- Support on-site commissioning activities and documentation.
- Maintain software configuration and system architecture records.
- Provide second-level support to service teams for troubleshooting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and site safety.
