Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Anzio, Italy seeks a Maintenance Engineer trainee to lead maintenance programs under the Global Smart Maintenance model. You will oversee intervention planning, resource coordination, and predictive maintenance using IoT and ML/AI, while ensuring EHS and Quality standards.

The role combines digital maintenance, data-driven decision making, and hands-on equipment optimization with close collaboration across internal teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in industrial maintenance focusing on TPM/FP&R methodologies.
• Strong passion for mechanics and optimizing plant equipment.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP-PM/EAM) and technical/purchasing document management.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermography) and IoT/data analytics.
• Problem-solving, planning/priority setting, and strong safety orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan interventions and coordinate internal/external resources to ensure equipment efficiency.
• Draft and manage Material Purchase Requests and maintain Work Order flow using SAP.
• Develop and deploy condition-monitoring and predictive maintenance frameworks with IoT data.
• Digitize maintenance processes via digital checklists, SOPs, and SWIs interfaced with SAP-EAM.
• Support PMO initiatives with RCA tools to improve MTBF and MTTR.
• Act as a technical partner for production teams, aiding in AM checklists and FP&R standards.
• Collaborate on spare parts strategy, warehouse stock updates, and workshop upkeep.
