Job summary

Argotec in Italy is seeking a Junior Systems and Network Administrator to join the ICT Infrastructure Department. You will help deploy, maintain, and improve Linux-based systems and network infrastructure across the datacenter and campus.

The role requires Linux expertise, scripting skills, virtualization experience, and strong English communication. We offer a hybrid work model, training opportunities, and a focus on IT service reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma with at least three years of IT experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent written and oral English.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, administer and maintain Linux-based systems (physical and virtual).
• Support datacenter and campus network infrastructure.
• Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance activities.
• Maintain and improve server and application configurations through automation tools and scripting.
• Support the deployment and operation of virtualization platforms.
• Monitor systems and infrastructure health, troubleshooting issues and escalating when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with ICT team members in BAU and project activities.
