Responsibilities include working with the General Counsel, drafting legal documents, and ensuring corporate compliance. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, a lawyer qualification, and fluency in English. This position presents an exciting opportunity in the fashion/luxury sector.

Junior Legal Counsel - External Consultant

About the job

We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join the Legal team.

You will report to the Legal Counsel and provide legal expertise on the drafting, negotiation and implementation of a wide range of commercial agreements, regulatory matters and corporate compliance.

Main Tasks

• Working closely with the General Counsel in the assessment and management of legal affairs focusing on commercial, contractual and regulatory matters
• Providing general, commercial legal and regulatory advice in multiple jurisdictions
• Drafting and negotiating domestic and international agreements, including real estate leases, distribution, franchising, agency, service and license agreements
• Instructing and managing external legal counsels
• Applying combined business and legal judgment to proposed deals, strategic relationships and other issues requiring legal or compliance attention
• Working with the business team as a business partner to identify opportunities to drive business forward
• Maintaining the legal archive
• Providing operational support in corporate governance
• Assisting in the implementation and update of corporate compliance, specifically regarding Legislative Decree 231/01 and Data Protection (GDPR)
• NdA, LoI, Sponsorship and Marketing
• Conduct legal research

Profile

• 3+ in a similar role, preferably in the fashion/luxury industry
• Lawyer qualification is mandatory
• Fluency in English
