ALTEN Italia is seeking an HMI/SCADA Engineer to design, configure and optimize supervisory systems for industrial plants. You will develop interfaces, synoptics and dashboards to monitor processes and ensure seamless communication between SCADA, PLCs and field devices.

The role requires a degree in automation or related fields and at least two years of experience in industrial HMI/SCADA development, with familiarity with Ignition, Wonderware, WinCC, Movicon, iFIX or FactoryTalk.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure HMI and SCADA applications for monitoring and controlling industrial plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or related disciplines, or an equivalent technical diploma.
• Minimum two years of experience developing HMI and/or SCADA systems in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of one or more supervision software (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware, WinCC, Movicon, iFIX, FactoryTalk).
• Experience interfacing with industrial PLCs and industrial communication protocols.
• Ability to analyze industrial processes and translate operational requirements into supervisory solutions.
• Knowledge of industrial automation architectures and communication networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

Compensation

Annual gross salary between €31,000 and €35,000.

Benefits

The position is classified under the CCNL del Commercio e Terziario applied by ALTEN. Salary range is determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role and selection outcomes.
