O-I is seeking a Manufacturing Applications IT specialist to support the deployment, maintenance, enhancement, and continuous improvement of manufacturing software across facilities worldwide.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners to understand needs, deliver technology solutions, and ensure systems support operational excellence in a global manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in Information Technology, business systems support, manufacturing operations, or related field.
• Experience supporting manufacturing systems or manufacturing applications.
• Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within a global team environment.

Mansioni

• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to understand business needs and support the delivery of manufacturing technology solutions.
• Support the deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Global Manufacturing Information Systems across production facilities.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, evaluate solution options, and collaborate with developers to ensure solutions meet business and technical needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline manufacturing processes through technology and system enhancements.
• Document business processes, workflows, and system requirements, and create user, operational, and technical documentation.
• Scope, test, and implement application upgrades, new features, and system improvements based on business demand and technology roadmaps.
• Deliver training and ongoing support to end users while building trust through responsive and effective problem resolution.
• Contribute to global projects, share knowledge with team members, and participate in on-call support activities as required.
• Participate in system support activities, including occasional 24x7 on-call support as required.
