O-I in Lombardy, Origgio, Italy, is seeking an IT professional to support deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of manufacturing applications across global facilities. You will work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to translate business needs into technology solutions that sustain operational excellence.

You will gather requirements, evaluate options, and collaborate with developers to ensure solutions meet technical needs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in IS/Business/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in IT, business systems support, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience supporting manufacturing systems or manufacturing applications.
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

• Partner with stakeholders, IT teams and external partners to understand business needs and support the delivery of manufacturing technology solutions.
• Support deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Global Manufacturing Information Systems across production facilities.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, evaluate solution options, and collaborate with developers to ensure solutions meet business and technical needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline manufacturing processes through technology and system enhancements.
• Document business processes, workflows, and system requirements, and create user, operational, and technical documentation.
• Scope, test, and implement application upgrades, new features, and system improvements based on business demand and technology roadmaps.
• Deliver training and ongoing support to end users while building trust through responsive and effective problem resolution.
• Contribute to global projects, share knowledge with team members, and participate in on-call support activities as required.
• Participate in system support activities, including occasional 24x7 on-call support as required.

Formazione

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

3+ years of experience in IT / manufacturing operations
