Zegna, based in Milan, seeks a Junior Designer to support the Design Fashion Show Team in developing seasonal collections and conducting creative research. You will assist with design activities and execute projects for fashion show presentations, collaborating with your team to deliver impactful results.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience, fluency in English and Italian, and proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for technical drawings and documentation.

• 1–2 years experience in a similar role, preferably runway.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for technical drawings.

YOUR MISSION IN THIS ROLE

As Junior Designer, based in Milan, you will bring your unique strengths to the team, helping support the Design Fashion Show Team in the development of seasonal collections, assisting with creative research, design activities, and the execution of projects related to fashion show presentations.

You’ll work closely with the team to drive meaningful results and shape the way we work and grow.

More Specifically You Will

• Support the design team through research, concept development, and seasonal collection building
• Translate creative inputs into clear design proposals through sketches and visual explorations
• Develop accurate technical drawings for garments (trousers and shirts), including construction details, seams, stitching, finishes, and structural elements
• Prepare and update detailed technical specification sheets (materials, construction methods, measurements, color variations, trims, and components)
• Collaborate with product development and pattern-making teams to ensure accurate prototype development and design consistency
• Support fittings and sample development sessions, contributing to fit and construction refinements
• Assist during styling sessions, internal presentations, and development milestones when required
• Contribute to continuous product improvement in terms of quality, construction, and overall execution

Who You Are

• Degree in Fashion Design
• You bring 1-2 years experience in a similar role (preferably runway)
• You’re skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for technical drawings and collection recap documentation
• You’re known for strong team-working attitude and collaborative mindset, and it shows in how you work with others
• You have an open-minded and cross-category thinking approach
• Good understanding of garment and accessory construction, with strong attention to detail
• Creative, open-minded approach with the ability to think across categories
• You communicate fluently in English and Italian

What We Offer

• The position provides for a base salary between: € 27.000-32.000 Remuneration is determined on objective criteria, regardless of gender. Within the base salary range, individual pay is determined by knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
• The position is expected to be classified within the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Tessile). The final contractual classification will be determined using objective criteria, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and relevant professional experience.
