Giorgio Armani S.p.A. in Milano is seeking a Junior Designer to conceptualize and develop new flou collections that resonate with our target audience. You will collaborate closely with Emporio Armani designers to ensure products meet high standards of quality, functionality and style.

The role requires a Fashion Design degree, 3-5 years of experience, strong freehand drawing, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Procreate, with fluency in English and a passion for fashion.

Context and Purpose of the job

You will join the Emporio Armani Fashion Design Team. As a Junior Designer, you will play a key role in conceptualizing and developing new flou collections that resonate with our target audience. You will collaborate closely with other Emporio Armani designers to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality and style.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze seasonal trends and moods
• Develop flou designs through freehand sketching and dedicated design software
• Collaborate and exchange information with the entire design team to ensure consistency between the various product categories of the line
• Work with the Collection Merchandising team to develop a collection consistent with the brand’s DNA and commercial needs
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to bring the collection to fruition

Requirements

• Degree in Fashion Design
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Good freehand drawing ability
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Procreate
• Fluency in English
• Passion for fashion and a strong interest in various forms of art, visual culture and creative disciplines
• Strong sensitivity to fabrics and garment construction
• Strong creative mindset
• Precision and attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills

The base salary range for this position is 30.000 - 50.000 euros, CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.
